- SHEAF SQUARE DEVELOPMENT

SHEFFIELD| UK

Was part of a £50 million Sheffield Station Masterplan, creating a new gateway to the city and forming part of the Gold Route .

- HOWARD STREET

was designed to draw people through with its tall black lamp-posts, custom made seating blocks illuminated with fibre optics -concealed within the seats- and a series of uplit trees.

- THE CUTTING EDGE SCULPTURE

represents the metalwork history of Sheffield. It is an 80m long  mirror polished stainless steel sculpture with water running down one side. One end is circular with the other being elliptical. They are set with coloured glass designed by Keiko Mukade and lit from the inside giving it a jewel-like quality.  Tha color changing water cascades ly on the other side of the square.

- BARKERS POOL was also part of the Sheffield  masterplan. The Grade 1 Listed City Hall  building was illuminated and a water feature with fibre optics created a central point on the square.

ATRATOS THEATER

The brief required this 140 people theater to be very flexible. The main feature in the ceiling was created as a hanging LED colour changing Square grid so all at once or each square could light up on its own.

Hanging spotlights where specified for shows, plays and panel talks. And the seating space was made up of a linear grid of lights.

NOTOS | ATHENS

Exterior Lighting Scheme for the Christmas months to the facade of NOTOS building in the center of Athens. The idea was to create something fun, playful and colourful. All RGB lights were configures in 20second intervals so the building would give the sense it was pulsating. A projector located opposite the building  allowed for the rotating logo on the main facade.

CITY LINK / ATTICA LIGHTING |GR
BY 2Monochannels

I was asked to design a Christmas Lighting Scheme by 2 Monochannels co. for the most iconic building in the centre of Athens. called City Link. It hosts tjhe offices for Piraios Bank and the Attica Department Store.

We divised a way to contruct, move and install runs and runs of xmas lights. The City Link Cabaret style Signage & color changing LED lighting lit up the streets on all 4 sides of the building.

The scheme was so successful that City Link has adopted it for the past 4 years.
